| In in beginning of November 2011, Lakeland started a hike of the Eastern Continental Trail in Key West with the intention of spending an entire year hiking. On October 10, 2012, he finished his thru-hike at Crow Head, in Northern Newfoundland, having spent almost an entire year on the trail. In this talk, he discusses his experience, how he dealt with the physical and mental challenges of thru-hiking the ECT, and how he sees the trail. |
